Akurit 4 Tablet contains a combination of four active ingredients: Isoniazid, Rifampicin, Ethambutol, and Pyrazinamide. It is used in the treatment of tuberculosis (TB) by eliminating and inhibiting the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacteria responsible for TB infection.

How it works

• Isoniazid and Rifampicin: These antibiotics kill actively growing bacteria and are highly effective against Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
• Ethambutol: Prevents bacterial cell wall formation, stopping the bacteria from multiplying.
• Pyrazinamide: Eliminates dormant bacteria and enhances the effects of other TB medications.

• Reddish-orange discoloration of body fluids (due to Rifampicin)
